Information Technology Project Manager

Reports to : PMO Head.

  • Determine/Review and specify project scope and objectives.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Determine resources needed to execute the project and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Create an integrated project plan to oversee scope, cost, timelines, risk, quality issues, and communications.
  • Organizing and motivating a project team
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Track project budget in terms of allocated and consumed man-days, and utilize the resources in different projects and activities to control the budget and avoid discrepancies.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Measure project performance, Analyze and manage project risk to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about budget, risks, adjustments, and progress.
  • Deal smoothly with membership changing process, also provides a business level orientation with new team resources.
  • Prepare purely described project status reports.

  • Ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands on experience in managing IT projects.
  • Hold Bachelor’s degree in computer science ,Information technology or relevant field.
  • Should be a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Project Management.
  • Should have experience working on Government projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban.)
  • Knowledge and experience in project management tools (MS project, TFS, JIRA)
  • Proven experience in defining project requirements (tested by real customer requirements) and timetables.
  • Experience managing to deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs.
  • Ability to manage troubled teams/projects and bring them to success
    Proven experience with projects of similar size and scope.
